The White Sox have come right out of the All Star break in the opposite direction and are now the owners of a 3-7 record at the end of a ten game road trip. Not the start Sox fans were looking for heading into the second half. There is a lot of talk of what Kenny Williams is conjuring up only two weeks from the trade deadline. But that’s a whole other bag of issues. A sweep by Detroit has the White Sox looking up now instead of down. Detroit holds a 1.5 game lead in the Central Division. The Sox welcome the Minnesota Twins to the Cell to try and get back on track.
