Series Preview: White Sox vs. Tigers

I’m going to go ahead and forget everything that happened this past weekend with the White Sox. They still maintain a two game lead over the Detroit Tigers thanks to the scheduling gods and/or goddesses. Nancy Faust is one of those goddesses. Looking at the two schedules, Detroit seems to have an easier road ahead of them. The Tigers get to play Oakland and rotate between the Twins and Royals for the final four series of the season. The White Sox play at Los Angeles and face Tampa Bay at home. Wait, those scheduling gods and/or goddesses are just big flirty bastards. May they burn in Hades.

 Injury Crap:

Adam Dunn might be sidelined for this series with a strained oblique.

Brian Bruney was moved to the 60 day DL and Jose Lopez and Hector Gimenez were activated to the 40 man. Yes, that Jose Lopez.
